we are a family of 5 . never been to greece . we would like to have the holyday of a lifetime . We can pay a nice rent but not the one advertised on brochures .

Paros is a good island for a family trip, really quite, good restaurants by night, a really good sea walk and a lot of beautiful beaches. I really like it because there is not such mass tourism like in the island around...so you can have both good prices both good time.
It's pretty easy to find a place where to stay, the prices are around 20-30 euros per person each day (B&B) and a lunch with just fresh fish costs around 20 euros.
When you will arrive at the island is pretty easy to find accomodation, a lot of owners come to the port with pictures and prices of theyr places.
To go there you can take the airplan to Mykons and the a fast ship (20mins.) to Paros, or directly a fast ship from Athens.
